The Westover Brick Masonry trade repaired the Fire Station in downtown Chicopee, Massachusetts to re-point worn areas on the corner of the building. Students worked with their instructor Robert Marion for a week, ensuring that the red brick structure was in tip top shape. The Fire Department actively works with Westover to promote careers in public safety, to volunteer in the community, to promote employer partnerships and to encourage youth to enroll. The Department recently supported Safe & Sound Week working with our Safety Officer. We ran into them again at our Clinical Nursing site, enjoying a BBQ lunch with the elderly residents. We always get a big smile and kind words.
