Staff members Jayson Bartolemy, Alvin Clark, Bonita Hall, Leon Hartman, Ken Nora, Rhonda Remo and Lloyd Simoneaux relayed uplifting stories of their military experiences and how those experiences transformed their lives to a group of 50 trainees in the campus auditorium.
Resume Expert Grant Cooper Speaks at New Orleans Job Corps
“I wanted to communicate to the students that there are two elements to improving their job search,” said Cooper. “One element is making sure you have the right resume, cover letter and paperwork to open the door. The other element is being sure that you present your self correctly and that’s a combination of how you dress for interviews, how you represent yourself when you contact and speak with companies and your interview skills.”
