On August 24, 2011, the Wilmington Job Corps Center Facilities Maintenance students stepped up to the challenge of erecting a stage for a school’s Open House event.

Las Americas ASPIRA Academy, asked the facilities maintenance department to build a stage for their new educational facility grand opening. The school is Delaware’s first bilingual charter school.  

After the ceremony, board members contacted the center’s POC for this event and praised the job that was done by our students. The students were mentioned and recognized in the program booklet. WAY TO GO GUYS!!!
