The New Haven Job Corps Center’s C.N.A. and C.M.A. students teamed together to enroll donors for their second blood drive of the year. Students assisted American Red Cross volunteers in securing donor appointments, registering donors, assisting on the floor at the “Canteen” ensuring donors were ready to return to their day’s work. Stephanie Mills, representative from the American Red Cross attended a recent student assembly and explained to staff and students the importance of donating blood and that each donated pint will save up to three lives.
