The Student Government Association recently journeyed out into the community to deliver Thanksgiving meals with all of the trimmings to needy families within the Montgomery Job Corps Community. This activity was twofold, it reinforced the kindness of the human spirit and stressed the importance of what Thanksgiving is all about to our students. The families were overjoyed to receive the groceries and expressed their appreciation of the donations. This is just characteristic of the Montgomery Job Corps students and staff. The students left with a sense of pride and are looking forward to their Christmas Toy Drive.
