Maryland Consortium Meeting Held At Corporate

On March 18, the Maryland Consortium held its quarterly meeting to discuss admissions and placement issues.  The purpose of the Maryland Consortium is to bring together Job Corps operators, agencies and Center throughout the greater Maryland area to collaborate on programming resource management, workforce coordination, legislative support and partnership development to drive long-term quality career outcomes for our students.

The meeting’s primary attendees consisted of Center Directors Veronica Johnson and Tanisha Nixon, Maryland Career Transition Services (CTS) Director Kristi France, Maryland Office of Admissions Director Jennifer Beil, Woodstock Business & Community Liaison Tammi Bush, Woodstock’s OA/CPP Coordinator Amanda Rosenberg, Career Transition Readiness Supervisor Tonya Edison and Maryland CTS Coordinator Briana Wilton.  Partners who provided support where Mr. Clarence Crawford & Martinez Ward Teach’em How to Fish, Beth Turner from Securitas and Davidson with the Community College of Baltimore County.
