Woodland was happy to celebrate the accomplishments of their Advanced Culinary students this past week.
The Advanced Culinary Arts program which is taught at Anne Arundel Community College is a nationally recognized 30-week program, with admission of new students every 15 weeks. The program is not just an advanced cooking program, but rather a program designed to train future managers in the culinary field.
During the students stay they covered such subject areas as: Principles of Supervision, Purchasing, Food and Beverage, Labor Cost Controls, Healthy Cooking, and Advanced Food and Culture.
These graduates from the program are outstanding! In the past some of our graduates have been placed in business dining restaurants, fine dining restaurants, major hotels, healthcare facilities and more.
