BCL, Jobina Brown, the White House Business Council, and John Hopkins Hospital & Health Systems were invited by Congressman Steny Hoyer to participate in a roundtable discussion with chamber leaders on giving youth a “second chance.”
The main focus of the roundtable was to call to action all the members of the private sector to improve their communities by looking at ways to eliminate barriers for those with a criminal record and creating a pathway for a second chance.
Woodland was happy to have been asked to participate and they look forward to working with the Congressman and his staff in the future.
