“One thing I have learned about seizing an opportunity with major players of Prince George’s County is if you have them all in one room the time to hit them is now rather than later and that is just what I did,” stated BCL, Jobina Brown.
Ms. Brown circled back around to attend The Greater Prince George’s Business Roundtable (GPGBR) meeting for the month. The last time she attended the meeting Rodney Butler, Regional Executive Director for Adams & Associates did a presentation for GPGBR. At the meeting she was able to catch up with all of her old contacts and colleagues to talk about ways in which they can partner with Woodland to push the center forward.
GPGBR is a non-profit, nonpartisan business alliance of Chief Executives, formed to improve their political, economic and community environments for a better Prince George’s County. GPGBR is led by a Board of Directors, composed of concerned and active business leaders from the county and region, whose companies employ nearly 60,000 people, helping to strengthen the county and the region.
Woodland is looking forward to continuing to tap into GPGBR’s resources to continue to promote the center’s best and brightest students.
