Whitney Young Job Corps Center operated by Horizons Youth Services participated in the national Job Shadowing program. SGA – Student Gov’t Association students met with Lt. Governor Jenean Hampton and State Senator Paul Hornback. Students asked great questions and both elected official stated what their roles and responsibilities are and how a typical work day will be. Some days are very different than others. Both the Lt. Governor and Senator shared how they got into politics and how they were professionals in other arenas before running for office. SGA students took photos with Lt. Governor and the state senator.
