Whitney M Young Jr. Job Corps takes pride in offering community service and assistance to our neighbors locally and state wide. Each technical trade was assigned a project to complete during Make a Difference Week (October 22-25). We helped Habitat for Humanities, St. Jude Women’s Recovery Center, Shelby County Animal Shelter, Masonic Home of Shelbyville, Parkland Boys & Girls Club and several other non-profit agencies. The appreciation from the organizations we served was great! As a result, new partnerships were established. Serving our community is a regular commitment for Whitney M. Young Job Corps Center. Our technical trades include construction, medical and culinary arts.
