Whitney M Young Job Corps Students participated in Louisville Mayor Fisher’s Give-A-Day Earth Week (April 16-20) and volunteered over fifty hours of community services utilizing their skills.

Students fed the homeless, sorted medical supplies to send overseas, repaired fences and other projects. Each Job Corps trade was able to contribute including construction, medical and culinary arts.

Whitney M Young Job Corps Students helped agencies such as: Maryhurst, Franciscan Shelter, Family Scholar House, Boys & Girls Haven, Shelby Co. Clear Creek Park and more.
