Whitney M. Young Job Corps Student, Sherika Hill, is awarded the American Red Cross Scholarship.

Whitney M. Young Job Corps’ student body has earned the honor of being recognized for outstanding community service from the American Red Cross. Each year a student is selected to receive monetary support; this year’s American Red Cross Scholarship recipient is Ms. Sherika Hill. She is awarded $2,000 towards her higher education at the University of Phoenix.

She has completed Job Corps and will transfer her current job to Arden Court in Atlanta, GA while continuing her education. Kentucky Job Corps worked for Sherika Hill.
