Whitney Young Job Corps welding graduate, Randy Jones, is a hard worker, but lacked the education he needed to secure solid employment. Prior to attending Whitney Young Job Corps Randy went to Bryan Station High School in Lexington, KY where he enjoyed US History, reading, biology and was good in math. Randy did not receive his high school diploma from Bryan Station, he decided to earn his high school diploma and a technical trade from Whitney Young Job Corps. Randy accomplished his goal and earned both an Eminence High School diploma and the AWA- American Welding Association certificate. Randy also obtained his drivers licenses while attending the WMYJCC. Randy feels confident and is seeking higher education at BCTC Bluegrass Community Technical College in Lexington.
