New students begin their Job Corps career in Kentucky

Whitney M. Young Jr. Job Corps Center welcomed a new cohort of 15 students on July 27th as they began their career with Job Corps. Students were provided with a Welcome backpack of supplies, met with staff at the NIA Center – Kentucky Career Center in Louisville, participated in TABE testing as well as wellness activities during the enrollment process. Career Counselors, plus a tech specialist and other campus staff, travelled to Louisville from the Simpsonville campus site to meet and greet the new students. Congratulations to the newly enrolled Job Corps students!
