The WMYJCC Culinary Arts team won three awards during the Job Corps Region II Iron Chef Competition and Culinary Arts Expo June 14-18 at Atlantic Cape Community College in Mays Landing, N.J. The team won third place in the Taste and Miesen Place categories, and fourth in Sanitation. Team members included Samantha Davis, iron chef; Clifton Moran, sous chef; Constina Harris, garde manager; and Blanca Martin, assistant. The event gives Job Corps students the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills, participate in workshops, and receive valuable feedback from industry experts.
