Tara Anavitate travelled a short distance from West Springfield, MA but had to juggle her three part time job to get there. “I work an average of 54 hours a week” said the proud Certified Nursing Assistant grad. Tara has part time employment at Maxim and Allied agencies. At Allied she works as both a home health aide and a personal care assistant. “When I was at Westover everyone told me I had the potential. Now I believe in myself as much as everyone else did.” When asked about other before and after comparison, she said: “I felt like I didn’t have anything. It was a struggle to get everywhere and a struggle to get what I needed.” Now that she’s working, “I Thank God every day that I completed Job Corps. I can go to the store and buy a pair of shoes that I like, that feel comfortable.”
