On November 18 Westover Job Corps hosted 60 people for lunch and an informal Q&A.  This was the launch of Leadership Pioneer Valley, a nine month intensive program to train diverse leaders in support of vigorous community and economic development. The leaders were from academica, government, nonprofit and business.  When asked how many people knew about Job Corps, only approximately 12 people raised their hands. A gourmet lunch was prepared and served by the Culinary Arts students. By the end of the lunch, people were stunned and impressed by this powerful program, right in their backyard.  Many pledged to collaborate.
