Members of the Turner Job Corps Center’s Wellness and TEAP Committee hosted their annual blood drive with the American Red Cross. Staff, students, and community partners donated more than 92 units of blood, exceeding their initial goal of 75 units. “I am so proud of our students, they were the first in line this morning and our minors and those who could not make the minimum weight requirement were genuinely disappointed because they could not donate blood,” stated Ophelia Thomas, Wellness Administrator.
