On September 21st, the Albany Museum of Art invited a few of Turner Job Corps student employees for a very special tour! Our student employees were able to view art pieces of “Fighters for Freedom: William H. Johnson Picturing Justice. Our student employees also participated in completing a hands-on art project, which consisted of the students painting their heroes. Many of them painted their moms, siblings, and staff at Turner Job Corps Center. We look forward to building a partnership with AMA as they offer our student volunteer opportunities!
