Larry Hays’ Building Construction Technology trade students use their landscaping skills to preserve our Urban Farm. The students maintain the Urban Farm sprinkler system by ensuring that our systems are working properly and that we are using a water-efficient irrigation system. They also maintain the pond, prune shrubs, and remove the weeds.  The Building Construction trade also provides main support for the grounds maintenance. This past week, the BCT students worked on mulching the areas around the planters to inhibit the growth of weeds.
