Treasure Island Job Corps Students honored by Community Group & Employer

In December, our Facilities Maintenance students were honored at festive luncheon for Stellar work on Treasure Island’s lovely Pavilion. Some of our students have been hired to work on our island such as our Security Students to support “TI Flea” by proprietors Charles & Angie Ansanelli.

Our students have done such stellar work that this week, the entire class of Mr. Larry Hays; Facilities Maintenance Class room were honored to a delightful sit down luncheon by the owners and proprietors of “ Wine Valley Catering” for their incredible work restoring and refurbishing the Pavilion.

The luncheon facilitated by Chantel Ginocchio, featured complimentary speeches and acknowledgements by Treasure Island Development Authority Director Saez, Tom Gonzales; TIJCC Construction Trades Manager and TIJCC’s SGA president. The speeches had one theme- exhorting students to continue to support community and endorsing the value of the students’ work. Many thanks and great Kudos to the students for their wonderful work!
