As the Penn Foster classroom and NLRO/HiSET classrooms are trading locations in the Academic Hallway, IT Manager Gio Silvestre, took in a handful of our Office Administration students to help execute the task.  When the IT Manager, Gio, realized he had to swap a total of 30 computers, he requested for additional help from the Education and Training Department. Amazingly, what better opportunity to utilize our own students with their trade skills,  than to help him execute the job? Not only will this help IT and the Academic Department, but this will also allow the students who participated to earn credit for their TAR—Training Achievement Record. Most importantly, this will help students gain real-life experience and give them an understanding on how to assemble a set of computers and how to connect them properly to our LAN systems. Kudos to IT Manager Gio and our Office Administration Students who took on the task!
