Treasure Island held our quarterly Community Relations Council  meeting on Friday, March 18th and the turnout was great. Attendees came from all over the Bay Area to learn about our center, how well our students are doing and how to get involved. While the luncheon was only scheduled to last until 1:00PM, guests stayed until almost 2:00PM asking question of the staff an connecting with each other. Calli Youth Shelter, for example, connected with the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) on housing and training needs while Center Plate and Miyokos Kitchen connected with our WBL Advisors for internships.
