Trapper Creek Job Corps students “pitch in” to celebrate Earth Day and Global Youth Service Day. Each weekend in the month of April, numerous students have volunteered their time to help make a difference and make our county beautiful. Among these volunteers are students working toward an Americorps scholarship.
Approximately 40 students worked on these projects; highway clean up, Victor community garden work, Como Lake clean up, Bitterroot humane society tree pruning and yard clean up, Hamilton city clean up, Darby city clean up and clean up at Trapper’s own recreation area.
These activies always prove to be eventful and fulfilling. “We love getting out and making our communities nicer,” stated one volunteer.
