Tongue Point Job Corps at Rose Festival Galley Wars

Tongue Point Job Corps Seamanship staff and students and their teaching vessel Ironwood attended the Rose Festival Fleet Week, giving tours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They participated in the Galley Wars and took the runner up award where the Galley students, Chief Pam Zundel and Sean Huey, Head Chef at Spirit Mountain Casino teamed up to make a chicken slider that was an amazing blend of spice and sweet. Chef Sean brought an actual stainless steel slide to send the tasty slider directly and creatively to the customer.
