WEBER BASIN JOB CORPS CCC AND UINTA-WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST receives the Chief Honor Award for Advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in Program and Service Delivery

Weber Basin is so honored to be partnered with local National Forest Uintah Wasatch Cache. This amazing partnership has allowed Weber Basin to participate in and provide opportunities for the student’s we train. Enabling our students’ opportunities to continue growing and learning the value of diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility to all that want to learn and gain new experience. The 2023 Chief’s Honor Awards recognized our outstanding achievements. We are so proud of this accomplishment. It allows all involved the opportunity to reflect on Agency accomplishments toward meeting strategic goals and celebrate the outstanding contributions of Forest Service employees across the Wasatch Front.

At the most critical time in the program’s history, Weber Basin Job Corps CCC and the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache have created a workplace that exemplifies Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA). Weber Basin CCC, in partnership with the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache, provides an example for the Agency to model in building an organization that thrives and promotes all parts of DEIA.
