The St. Louis Job Corps is a community team player and our students helped move Earth “Day” to boost Urban Agriculture at Your’s Inc. Urban Farm. St. Louis Job Corps students Calvin Hardy (Pharmacy Tech), Crystal Hosch (TCU), Darrow Sanders (HOT), Dyvon Wayman (Carpentry), Everett Fry (Welding), Justin Graves (Security), and Peter Dantzler (HBI) signed up to volunteer at the Your’s Inc. Urban Farm and Community Services Education Day. The students spent the day moving organic top soil into raised garden beds, planting bushes and flowers, learning about organic urban farming and bee keeping, and talking to the community about the St. Louis Job Corps program. Your’s Inc. is a community partner of the St. Louis Job Corps and our students help set up the Your’s Inc. Urban Farm two years ago. Now Your’s Inc. which is situated in the heart of the Baden Community in North St. Louis is the first officially registered Urban Farm in the State of Missouri with the Federal Agriculture Department.
