The theme for Women’s History Month 2022 is “Celebrating Women Who are Making a Difference Around the Globe.” International events have and continue to dominate the headlines from a global pandemic to climate change to a horrible war that is waging in Ukraine; we celebrate the female health care workers, scientists, climate activists and diplomats who work diligently to provide relief and peace to all corners of the world. However, we must recognize the work and leadership that takes place right in front of us everyday to improve our communities, our industries and the lives of young men and women who will be tomorrow’s workforce. So we recognize every woman who is part of the St. Louis Job Corps family and to those who are part of our Workforce and Community Relations Councils. Thank you for your tireless work, assisting our students to overcome the obstacles they face and to attain the potential they possess.
