In October the Construction Career Development Initiative (CCDI) hosted its annual golf tournament.  The proceeds of the tournament provide a variety of resources, tools and scholarships for CCDI students.  In 2020 the St. Louis Job Corps Center began to partner with CCDI and since that time numerous graduates of the Center have been assisted with tool purchases and apprenticeship placement with CCDI contractor partners.  Carpentry Instructor Brian Gray and Dan Lester, Director of Field Diversity, Inclusion and Culture with Clayco (left) were in attendance for the dinner and awards presentation.  Tom Sieckhaus, Clayco VP and CCDI Founder poses with Diana Wilhold, Deputy Executive Director of the STL Construction Forum during the reception.  Tom has been a champion for directing high school students into the building and construction trades for years and his influence has been key in the development of employer partnerships across the St. Louis region.
