Sixty St. Louis Job Corps students participated in the SLATE Summer Internship Program that lasted eight weeks over the hot St. Louis Summer. This included placing students at 20 different work based learning sites. These sights included Walgreens, Normandy School District, Worknet Inc., and Volunteers of America as well as many others. Twelve of our students were asked to take on full time positions as soon as they complete the program. These positions had a starting wage of $15 per hour.
