The St. Louis Job Corps Center is working to become part of the MOSAIC Project through the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and World Trade Center of St. Louis.  Center Director Tim Chambers believes it is essential to better connect with members of our foreign-born communities, building trust and informing them of the benefits of Job Corps.  “This regional initiative intends to be a cultural mosaic because our community believes that immigrants invigorate our region,” according to the project’s website.  St. Louis Center personnel recently attended the annual MOSAIC meeting at the St. Louis World Trade Center, connecting with other education institutions and organizations throughout our recruiting area including the Immigrant Service Provider Network.
