St. Louis Job Corps Center partners with IKEA for students’ success

The St. Louis Job Corps Career Center has partnered with IKEA St. Louis to provide students with valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and real career opportunities. Above: Elena Sapp, People & Culture Manager II at IKEA St. Louis, (center) recently welcomed Job Corps staff Kane Miner, WBL Coordinator, (left) and Brittany Edgeston, CTS Specialist, to the local IKEA location, marking the beginning of this impactful collaboration.

As part of its commitment to community engagement, through this partnership, Job Corps students can gain industry-recognized skills, participate in work-based learning, and build direct connections to employment pipelines—empowering them to thrive in today’s workforce and contribute to a stronger St. Louis community. IKEA is a multinational conglomerate founded in Sweden that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, household goods, and other related services.
