Alysha Young – Cement student at the ST. Louis Job Corps received cross training with Tarlton Construction job site shadow program. Alysha worked with female Carpentry apprentice Abby Martin and Roy E. Ross Superintendent of the worksite on one of the Tarlton construction sites for the day. Roslyn Croft, Diversity Coordinator for Tarlton Corporation has partnered with the St. Louis Job Corps to help make sure young women have a chance to enter the building and construction trades. Roslyn assisted Jeffrey Taylor the Business Community Liaison in starting a shadowing program to help young women in Job Corps see the opportunities in the St. Louis construction industry.
