No, he is not a soccer player; he is a new carpenter apprentice with Waterhout Construction Company, working on the new Major League Soccer stadium in downtown St. Louis that will be home to the St. Louis City. Caleb participated in the “Build Your Future” event at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri, just west of St. Louis, on Wednesday, April 20 as part of a contingent to promote the St. Louis Job Corps Center. During the event his instructor, Mr. Brian Gray, introduced him to a superintendent with Waterhout who hired Caleb on the spot! “It was a scramble to get all the paperwork completed for Waterhout and the Union Hall, but we wanted Caleb on the job Monday morning,” said Instructor Brian Gray. So Caleb graduated from Job Corps on Friday, April 22, and was on the job Monday morning, April 25. Mr. Gray states, “Caleb is a super guy who will be a great carpenter.” Congratulations to Caleb and to Waterhout for another effective Job Corps connection!
