The St. Louis Job Corps Center is set to bring new students on to Center beginning April 5, 2022 with a cohort of five. Since the spring of 2020 our residential center has abided by Department of Labor guidelines to ensure that we are a safe location for both staff and students. Ms. Susan McNeal, Supervisor of Admissions of the St. Louis Center, explains that the initially the cohorts will be small and social distancing rules will remain in place. However, she is excited that her staff, who has worked so hard to keep applicants interested in becoming part of Job Corps, will be able to see the results of their hard work as new faces begin to arrive. The St. Louis Job Corps Center is a vital link in creating entry level employee pipelines to several industries in the metropolitan area and it will be exciting to see training and employment success stories be written in real time.
