Gwen Moore Retired University of Missouri St. Louis Business Professor and representative from the League of Women Voters spoke to the students and staff at the Monday Morning Assembly about the importance of having skin in the game when it comes to voting. She gave the analogy between voting and being on a basket ball team in March Madness. If you come to the court and only set on the bench are you really in the game. You have to register to get off the bench. You then need to go in the game and play as part of the team.
