Habitat Helpers

On April 19, 2021 Trades Instructors from the St. Job Corps Center participated with Habitat for Humanity to lay the foundation for a new two-family flat in the Gate District in the central portion of St. Louis City. Otis Peebles – Bricklaying Instructor, Clyde Latham – Plastering Instructor, Roosevelt Robinson – HBI/BCT Instructor and George Davis – Cement Masonry Instructor donated their time and expertise to better our community. Ms. Rachel Boemer, the Director of the Construction Careers Development Initiative (CCDI) with Clayco, Inc., organized the opportunity for our team members. CCDI/Clayco has become a strong and effective partner of the St. Louis Job Corps Center’s trades programs and we appreciate their commitment to us and our city.
