Congressman William Lacy Clay from District 1 in Missouri gave the keynote address to the graduates of the St. Louis Job Corps Center and a packed auditorium. His address discussed what foot prints you will leave behind for future generations to follow. He praised the St. Louis Job Corps for giving hope to thousands of young St. Louis youth over the years and challenged them to help bring about an economic change through their skills, talents, and future careers. As his voice resonated over the over 400 people seated in the JC Penny Auditorium at the University of Missouri St. Louis Campus, the feeling of positive energy grew. The students, the members of the staff, and guests cheered as his final words sent them into the world with a purpose and a mission to be successful and help others along the way.
