Meet legacy student Amiya Perry who was proceeded at the St. Louis Job Corps Center by several family members including both her mother and father! Her parents helped her to understand the value of Job Corps, offering the ability to pursue her high school diploma and career training at the same time. Amiya has paid attention to where opportunities lie in our economy and she is confident that a career in logistics/material handling and distribution is the way to go; she knows that she is a non-traditional participant in this field, which she says only inspires her. A career in logistics will take her wherever she wants to go and right now Amiya hopes that might be away from the St. Louis summer heat and humidity!!
