Make a Difference Day 2010

The St. Louis Job Corps Center participated in the Make a Difference Day activities on October 22^nd.   Robin Foster helped coordinated the Student Government in planning and leading our students in doing an outstanding job participating in Make a Difference Day.  Our students cleaned and picked up litter along Goodfellow Blvd from Stratford to the Federal Building.   The collected a total of 12 Large Trash Bags.   Ms. Foster said they “did an awesome job and all  loved doing it as well!”  We put out a special thanks to the Maintenance department Melvin Hampton and Ernest Lampkin getting in on the action and getting their hands dirty, picking up all the trash bags and providing extra supplies for the students to complete their task.
