SBJCA Work-Based Learning Partnership with Balance Choice

Thank you once again Balance Choice for the Work-based Learning Partnership. You provide CMA students Yerilanny Espinal and Christina Adames at the South Bronx Job Corps Academy with the required 40-hour internship employment opportunity. They are also gaining priceless real-life exposure to apply and practice their skills.

Once students complete 70% of their program, we provide them with hands-on, non-compensated internship experience in their field before graduating from

the center and earning their certificate.

Work-based learning opportunities are a vital first step for our students before graduation because they amerce them in real-life employment environments. They learn what’s expected in their chosen career pathway they graduate and acquire their certifications.

If you offer non-paid internships in healthcare, security, IT, construction, culinary, or office administration career paths in the Bronx, Queens, and upper Manhattan, DM me here on LinkedIn to schedule an in-person or virtual meeting.
