Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center held its last blood drive of the year on December 2 and had its biggest drive in all of 2011.  The students and staff donated 92 units of blood, which will help the sick and injured in the northern Nevada community.  The day’s drive, held through United Blood Services, brought the total of units donated in 2011 to 330, or enough units to help 990 people!

The center has held quarterly blood drives to benefit the community for many years, and is glad to be able to give back.  Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center is proud to provide help to others during the holidays and all throughout the year!
