Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center Student Services Director Darla Fink and Business & Community Liaison Helyse Turner were interviewed on a KTVN Channel 2 television interview segment.  The segment, “Face the State,” takes a critical look at various organizations, programs and issues in Nevada.  During the segment, many misconceptions about the Job Corps program were addressed.  Volunteerism, admissions criteria and resources for students were also discussed.

The program helped provide viewers with a better understanding of the Job Corps program.  Fink and Turner were also able to share the many wonderful things the program does for its students and, in turn, its students do for the community.  Sierra Nevada looks forward to continuing to create awareness about the great things its students and graduates do and the positive impact the center has on the state of Nevada!
