Minh, also known as “Minty,” was a successful student, graduating from high school in Las Vegas, Nevada with honors.  However, after her troubled home life led her to run away, Minty found it difficult to be successful without a place to call home.  This led to her enrolling at the Sierra Nevada Job Corps in 2008 and since then she has:

*  Completed the Office Administration trade

*  Graduated from Sierra Nevada Job Corps in 2008

*  Graduated from Truckee Meadows Community College with her Associate of Arts degree

*  Is continuing on to the University of Nevada, Reno to major in Information Systems

*  Plans to become a database administrator after graduation
