Voice of experience from a former Shriver student……
Word was received recently from a former student of Shriver Job Corps in Devens, MA. Ruslan Angell wrote the following message to all current students:
Hello Shriver Students,
I am an Alumni and Valedictorian for class of 2019! I wanted to share some insight into being a successful student at Shriver!
1. Focus on your reason for being there! 2. Don’t get involved in drama on campus. 3. Try your hardest to gain insightful experience for the future self! ALWAYS BE WILLING TO LEARN.
4. IF YOU TAKE IT SERIOUS, you will be very successful!
I was struggling before going to job corps, I was on the verge of being homeless, now I am a Multi-State manager for an Inventory Company. Prior to that I was a field supervisor for the Department of Commerce. This all couldn’t be possible without Shriver Job Corps!!
