Marcus Shagogue is a 2018 graduate of Shriver Job Corps in Devens, MA.  He completed the Security trade and was the first student to be accepted to the advanced program in Kentucky which he graduated from in 4 months!  Presently, he is employed with the Dept. of Corrections at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Hartsville, TN.  He entered Job Corps shortly after graduating from high school and needing a career path and basically needing a residence.  He was also in need of getting his drivers license at that time so Job Corps offered everything he needed.  He recently stated that Job Corps prepared him well right from the start.  Since he graduated from advanced training, he immediately went to work and has maintained to live on his own.  He has an apartment, a dog and after saving for quite a while, he was able to buy himself a brand new 2020 Ford Mustang!  It was no surprise to many staff members that Marcus would do well.  He was determined from the start and it has paid off!
