On Thursday SGA Students got the chance to spend time with some wonderful furry friends at the Sterling Animal Shelter. Although the shelter provides a very comfortable environment for the animals, there is always a need for blankets during the harsh, bitter-cold winters.
As part of Shriver’s ongoing community service program, students packed up a van with comforters that were no longer used at the center and delivered them to the shelter. During their visit students were able to interact with the animals and share a little kindness and compassion with the dogs and cats so eager to find forever homes.
