A motivational presentation stressing the importance of making good choices, and practicing safety at all times, on and off ceneter, was presented to the students at Shreveport Job Corps Center by “Think First”, a local organization whose mission is to promote safety by encouraging students to “think first” before acting.   Videos and statistics were presented along with up close and candid interaction  from the presenters, one of whom is a quadriphlegic, who used himself as an example of the consequesces of making unsound choices.  The presentation was one of many ongoing efforts by the Center to expand awareness and encourage students to act responsibly at all times.  We look forward to their safe return after the  Winter Break.
