Shreveport Job Corps Center celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month to recognize the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the United States. The celebration was in conjunction with Cultural Diversity Awareness activities for the month. Activities were designed to enhanced students’ knowledge of various Hispanic cultural origins to include customs, music, clothing, and music. The Center’s Food Service department prepared a special lunch and dinner that highlighted various Hispanic foods.
